About Your New Role

CommandLink is seeking a Cost Optimization Analyst to join our expanding team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on working with data, excel in Excel, and are motivated to enhance processes that drive savings and efficiency across the organization. You will begin by auditing, analyzing, and organizing cost data, and as you grow, you will take on projects to shape processes, collaborate with various teams, and directly contribute to cost optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Excel to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and pinpoint cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support cost tracking, reporting, and documentation activities.
  • Assist in developing and refining processes for auditing and reconciliation.
  • Help manage projects by organizing tasks, ensuring timelines are met, and keeping initiatives on track.
  • Collaborate with other teams to gather necessary information, ensure data accuracy, and resolve issues.
  • Create reports and dashboards to effectively communicate findings to leadership.
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and projects to support team and organizational success.

What You'll Need for Success

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, and data analysis techniques.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an analytical, financial, operations, or business support role.
