About the Program

ASPIRE is our flagship Emerging Talent development program, designed to fast-track the careers of recent graduates and entry-level professionals over a two-year period. With a global presence and seven independent functional tracks, the ASPIRE Engineering & Technology track specifically targets highly motivated individuals with a passion for technology, innovation, and a drive for technical excellence and leadership development.

What You'll Experience

ASPIRE members will complete four 6-month rotations (or two 6-month rotations plus a 1-year rotation) within the Engineering & Technology function. These rotations are strategically aligned with business needs, your career interests, and performance. You'll gain meaningful work experience on cutting-edge technologies, interact with customers, and receive in-depth technical training essential for the energy sector and Baker Hughes.

Your Development Journey

The program is meticulously designed to accelerate your professional growth through intensive technical training and exposure to business-critical assignments. Graduates will be equipped with the technical foundation to proactively contribute to BH's future and address the challenges of the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in structured career development activities, benefiting from active coaching and mentoring.
• Complete formal training in essential engineering and technology courses relevant to Baker Hughes and the ASPIRE program.
• Engage in global and cross-functional networking, lead program initiatives, and interact with global business leaders.
• Solve critical business challenges by collaborating within cross-functional, mission-based teams.
• Gain international experience through assignments and projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronics, Control, Chemical, Energy Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent knowledge.
• Up to 3 years of relevant work experience is acceptable.
• Demonstrated academic excellence.
• Internship experience in technical areas (Engineering preferred) or equivalent.
• A strong passion for engineering, a sharp technical attitude, and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Geographical mobility is required, as locations may vary.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the country of application without company sponsorship.
