About the Role

Based in our London office, you will work with colleagues and client teams across the South-East region. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage infrastructure projects/programmes across the full lifecycle, ensuring delivery to client objectives.
- Manage contracts, budgets, financial aspects, and project controls.
- Provide leadership and foster teamwork, developing teams and leading others in challenging or ambiguous environments.
- Address capability gaps and mentor the next generation of Project Managers.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, building long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients and partner organizations.
- Solve complex problems analytically and numerically, shaping workable solutions.
- Create, manage, and modify project/programme plans.
- Ensure effective planning, communication, and organization, managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively with senior client representatives and your team.
- Identify client opportunities and independently solve challenges, leveraging internal business reach-back.
- Promote inclusive environments and act as a role model.
- Ensure health, safety, quality, and environmental management, and prepare status reports.
- Understand and practically apply CDM regulations.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in infrastructure project/programme management across the lifecycle.
- Proven project management principles, including client objective delivery, contract/budget management, financial management, project controls, and schedule management.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to develop teams and lead in challenging environments.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills.
- Drive, commitment, and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective planning, communication, and organizational skills.

Beneficial Experience:
- Utilities/water infrastructure project and/or programme management.
- Procurement and managing NEC contracts.
- High level of commercial awareness.
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing contractors, consultants, and advisors.
- Consultancy or client-side project management experience.
- Familiarity with public sector organizations.
- Delivery within challenging operational environments.
- Proven experience across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience reporting in challenging stakeholder and regulatory environments.
Preferable Qualifications:
- Degree in a management, construction, or infrastructure-related subject, or equivalent experience.
- Professional affiliation with APM, ICE, or equivalent.
- Project management certification (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, MSP).
- NEC Accreditations or qualifications.
- CSCS / equivalent.
- NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualifications.
- CDM awareness.
