Bilingual (Spanish) Physician - Virtual Health Assessment

Join Oscar Medical Group as a full-time, employed Bilingual (Spanish) Physician and help us refactor healthcare through our innovative Virtual Health Assessment team. About the Role:

• Employment Type: Full-time, employed role.
• Hours of Operation: Monday - Thursday 8 am - 8 pm EST; Friday & Saturday 8 am - 6 pm EST.
• Flexible 8-hour or 10-hour shifts.
• One late day (shift ending at 8 pm EST) required per week.
• One Saturday shift required per quarter.
• Primary Function: Deliver quality care to patients via phone and video on Oscar's platforms and serve as a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers.
• Reporting: Reports to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

Work Location:

• This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; or Virginia.
• While daily work is from home, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Pay: $216,406 - $284,032 per year (based on experience, skills, and education).
• Eligibility: Annual vacation grant (up to 18 days), annual performance bonuses, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, 401(k) plan participation, life and disability insurance, and paid wellness time and reimbursements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in accordance with state regulations.
• Deliver medical care virtually (phone, video, & message) following Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices, and policies.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, RNs, and other providers across service lines.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Must be licensed in TN and FL (full license, not telehealth).
• Active IMLCC or eligible to apply.
• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states with company assistance.
• 3+ years of experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
• Experience with value-based care documentation standards.

Bonus Points:

• 2+ years of Telemedicine experience.
• Licenses in MO, AL, MS.
• Experience in regulatory supervision of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA).
