Specialist Umweltstrategie & Nachhaltigkeit (m/f/d)

Your Mission

Actively shape and drive our environmental and sustainability strategy, continuously developing existing processes. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, contributing your ideas to exciting initiatives. What Awaits You

  • Support the implementation and further development of our environmental strategy and program.
  • Oversee our certified locations and serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare environmental, energy, and sustainability-related key figures, assisting with reporting.
  • Actively contribute to environmental projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop concepts for internal communication on environmental topics.
  • Participate in the advancement of our Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001.
  • Assist with hazardous substance management (risk assessments, operating instructions, hazardous substance registers).
  • Contribute to the development of our Energy Management System according to ISO 50001.

What We're Looking For

  • Completed university degree with a focus on Environmental, Energy, or Business Studies, or a comparable qualification.
  • Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship with relevant professional experience in the environmental sector.
  • Knowledge in the area of hazardous substances or occupational safety, ideally with expertise according to GefStoffV (German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances).
  • Experience or additional qualifications in environmental or energy management.
  • Initial experience with management systems and audits.
  • Technical understanding and IT affinity.
  • Experience in reporting (e.g., environmental KPIs) and project management is advantageous.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach.
  • Analytical thinking combined with creativity.
  • Teamwork, sense of responsibility, and organizational talent.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Very good German and English language skills, with proficient use of MS Office.
