About concepte

concepte works with industrial and SME companies on sustainable energy systems. In this role, you will combine sales tasks with technical project work.

Responsibilities

As a Working Student in Energy Data Analysis, you will support our team in acquiring and implementing concrete customer projects. You will gain insights into the technical, economic, and political aspects of the energy transition in the German SME sector. Your tasks include:

• Analysis of energy data from industrial companies – electricity, heat, load profiles, etc. (potentially in Python).
• Research on technologies (e.g., photovoltaics, heat pumps, storage) and sustainability topics in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
• Cost analyses for investments in renewable energies and energy efficiency measures, as well as current funding opportunities.
• Utilization and improvement of our internal AI agent for automating audit creation.
• Customer acquisition and market analysis: Support in acquiring new customers and analyzing market potentials and competitive strategies.
• Sales Funnel Design: Co-designing the sales funnel, from initial contact to conversion, learning how to approach customers effectively and based on their needs.
• Proactive Contribution: You will not only assist with implementation but also actively contribute ideas and analyses.

Qualifications

• Master's student in an engineering, natural science, or business field (e.g., Energy Management, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Sustainability, Business Administration).
• Interest in climate protection, the energy transition, and digitalization.
• Good skills in using Excel and data analysis in Excel.
• Initial experience with data analysis in Python (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly) is a plus, but not required.
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to work.
• Motivation to learn new things, work independently, and contribute actively.
