About the Role

On behalf of our partner company, we are seeking you as a "FEM & Structural Analysis Engineer (m/f/d)" for the earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural mechanical analyses and FEM calculations to evaluate components, assemblies, and complex technical systems.
• Create and optimize calculation models, define boundary conditions and load cases, and assess results regarding strength and load-bearing capacity.
• Develop technical improvement suggestions and present calculation results to internal and external contacts.
• Analyze structural loads, deformations, and failure mechanisms, and support numerical and analytical calculations.
• Accompany tests and experiments, and contribute to the further development of calculation methods and material models.

Qualifications:

• A completed degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Mechanics, or a comparable engineering discipline.
• Ideally, professional experience as a Calculation Engineer (m/f/d), Simulation Engineer (m/f/d), FEM Engineer (m/f/d), or Development Engineer (m/f/d).
• Knowledge in FEM calculation, simulation, and structural analysis, as well as practical experience with HyperMesh, HyperWorks, Ansys, or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of relevant calculation guidelines and methods (e.g., FKM Guideline or VDI 2230) and Linux skills are advantageous.
• Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
