Your Responsibilities

• Actively participate in an agile development team, focusing on our software products in the marine communication sector.
• Champion a quality-first mindset within the development team, serving as the test expert responsible for verifying team deliverables using appropriate methods.
• Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and execution of unit tests to ensure high code quality.
• Develop and maintain automated tests, and as needed, manual test procedures to safeguard release cycles, working in close collaboration with the broader test team.

Your Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• High level of teamwork ability and open, transparent communication.
• Prior experience in software testing.
• Experience with unit tests.
• Proficiency in Python and C++.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably GitLab or GitHub.
• Good knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Independent and goal-oriented work style.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
