Senior Testautomation Engineer - Robot Framework

Responsibilities

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer with a focus on Robot Framework, you will take on a central role in the quality assurance of sophisticated software projects. You will advance test automation technically and functionally at the client's site and ensure that quality is considered from the outset.

• Conceive, implement, and establish test automations directly in the client's environment.
• Plan, conduct, and document functional and technical tests for individual software systems.
• Develop sustainable measures for quality improvement and process assurance.
• Act as a connecting interface between IT and business departments, moderating requirements related to test strategy, test processes, and quality assurance.
• Actively support the expansion of our test automation approaches and further develop our tools and standards in the Robot Framework environment.
• Depending on your interests, you have the opportunity to give technical presentations, conduct training sessions, or mentor students.

Qualifications

• Several years of practical experience in test automation with Robot Framework.
• Experience in IT consulting or in project-oriented IT environments.
• Knowledge of software development, e.g., with Python, is desirable.
• A good understanding of software quality, test strategies, and clean technical implementation.
• Ideally, certifications in the field of software testing.
• A completed degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
