Responsibilities

  • Monitor regulatory, market, and industry developments across European power markets.
  • Identify and analyze emerging trends related to renewable energy, batteries, flexibility, balancing markets, grid constraints, curtailment mechanisms, and other key market topics.
  • Produce concise internal updates and communicate relevant insights to Product, Sales, and Customer Operations teams.
  • Support Product Managers by conducting initial research and synthesizing complex topics into actionable recommendations.
  • Investigate specific market questions linked to product discovery, customer opportunities, strategic sales discussions, or upcoming client meetings.
  • Contribute to the expansion of Streem products across multiple countries by analyzing local market rules and identifying opportunities for feature replication and adaptation.
  • Track the evolution of strategic sectors such as battery storage, flexibility assets, and renewable energy developments across Europe.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to create market content including webinars, articles, white papers, presentations, and thought-leadership publications.
  • Build and maintain a structured knowledge base of market intelligence accessible to the wider organization.

Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in energy, market research, consulting, strategy, analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in renewable energy, electricity markets, and the energy transition.
  • Excellent research and analytical capabilities, with the ability to quickly understand complex topics and identify key takeaways.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce clear and concise summaries for different audiences.
  • Comfortable working with data and quantitative analysis (Excel, SQL, or Python) to extract meaningful insights.
  • Curious, autonomous, and proactive, with a strong desire to learn continuously.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Additional European languages are a plus.
  • Previous exposure to power markets, energy regulation, batteries, flexibility, or renewable energy projects would be appreciated but is not required.
