Responsibilities

Support the redevelopment and maintenance of the organization's web estate, including the corporate website.
Create, format, structure, edit, and publish effective, user-focused web content using content management systems (Wordpress, Umbraco, Alterian Immediacy CMC, SharePoint).
Train and support colleagues in updating their web content for user-friendliness.
Provide specialist support in producing digital communication content, including website copy, high-quality video, audio podcasts, email marketing, and digital graphics.
Distribute completed digital content across various channels (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, website).
Identify and troubleshoot website technical issues, working with external contractors for resolution and new functionality development.

Requirements

Educated to degree level in an appropriate specialist discipline or possess relevant specialist experience.
Experience in a busy and varied multi-disciplinary communications environment.
Attention to detail and ability to organize and structure complex information into logical website content.
Proficiency with content management systems including Wordpress, Umbraco, Alterian Immediacy CMC, and SharePoint.
Ability to identify website technical issues and collaborate with external contractors.
