About

We are a manufacturing company with approximately 92% in-house production, encompassing a wide range of manufacturing areas including plastics processing, CNC machining, welding and metalworking, electronics manufacturing, vehicle and component assembly, and various pre- and post-processing steps. We are seeking an experienced Production Process Manager to holistically view and optimize production processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, optimize, and standardize production processes across all manufacturing areas.
• Support and further develop our manufacturing processes in plastics processing, CNC machining, welding and metalworking, electronics manufacturing, and assembly.
• Identify waste, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and implement sustainable improvement measures.
• Develop and expand our KPI system for controlling productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Define, implement, and monitor relevant key performance indicators.
• Conduct process analyses, time studies, and economic feasibility assessments.
• Support production in case of process deviations and disruptions.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, standards, and process documentation.
• Support the introduction of new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, design, and production management.

Requirements

• Successfully completed further training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d), master craftsman (m/f/d), or a comparable technical qualification. Alternatively, a degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, or a similar field.
• Several years of professional experience in a manufacturing industrial company, ideally in the automotive sector or a similarly demanding series production environment.
• Demonstrated experience in the analysis, design, and optimization of production processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Lean Management, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
• Experience in establishing, developing, and monitoring key performance indicator (KPI) systems.
• Proficiency in methods such as value stream analysis, root cause analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, or similar tools.
• Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to work directly in production regularly.
• High technical understanding and the ability to grasp and evaluate complex production processes holistically.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• REFA knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Fluent German language skills (at least C1 level) in spoken and written form are mandatory.
• English language skills at B2 level.
• Chinese language skills are desirable but not mandatory.
