We are looking for an experienced Finance Expert for an established and economically successful industrial company with an international presence. Our client combines sustainable growth with modern structures and a future-oriented corporate culture. We are seeking a personality to further develop the finance department, take responsibility, advance processes, and act as a competent point of contact within accounting.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with legal accounting regulations.
• Assistance in consolidating and preparing financial data at group level.
• Ensuring proper and transparent financial reporting.
• Independent management of selected balance sheet and P&L areas.
• Verification and reconciliation of accounts and monitoring of intercompany transactions.
• Close collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and internal decision-makers.
• Support with audits and tax and commercial law issues.
• Preparation of business analyses and decision-making bases for management.
• Participation in the preparation of statistics, notifications, and reports.
• Further development of existing processes in finance and accounting.
• Support with digitalization projects and the introduction of efficient workflows.
• Involvement in cross-departmental topics and strategic special projects.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or a comparable further education in the accounting field.
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
• Very good knowledge of preparing financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).
• Experience in a group environment or in dealing with group-wide reporting structures is an advantage.
• Understanding of business contexts and analytical thinking.
• Proficient use of ERP systems and common MS Office applications.
• High affinity for numbers and a meticulous work approach.
• Enjoy critically questioning existing processes and implementing improvements.
• Independent work combined with team spirit and strong communication skills.
• Good German and English language skills in spoken and written form.
