Our client develops and produces high-quality specialty products for demanding industrial customers and stands for quality, innovation, and sustainable growth. To strengthen the Finance team, we are looking for a dedicated Bilanzbuchhalter / Senior Accountant (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Independent preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP)
• Support in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and consolidation processes within the corporate group
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of closing and reporting processes regarding quality and adherence to deadlines
• Management of central areas of financial accounting and ensuring smooth processes
• Reconciliation of general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, as well as intra-group billing
• Competent interface for external auditors, consultants, and internal departments
• Organization and support of annual financial statement, tax, and operational audits
• Professional support for management on financial and balance sheet issues
• Participation in tax matters and the preparation of statutory reports
• Identification of optimization potential within financial processes and their implementation
• Further development of digital workflows, reporting tools, and automation solutions
• Participation in company-wide projects related to finance, reporting, and compliance

Requirements

• Completed degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling, or a comparable qualification, e.g., as a certified accountant (IHK)
• Several years of practical experience in accounting, financial accounting, or financial statement preparation
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB and confident handling of annual financial statements
• Knowledge of corporate accounting or consolidation processes is an advantage
• Confident demeanor with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders
• User knowledge of ERP systems, ideally in the environment of modern Microsoft solutions
• Very good skills in using Excel and a strong understanding of numbers and processes
• Enthusiasm for digital transformation, process optimization, and modern financial organizations
• Structured, self-reliant, and goal-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a high degree of responsibility
• Good English skills for communication with international contacts
