Responsibilities

• Develop modern, performant, and scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Model and manage PostgreSQL databases, working with SQLAlchemy Async and Alembic migrations.
• Create, optimize, and document APIs for web, mobile, and integration applications.
• Develop and maintain background processes and asynchronous workflows with Celery.
• Integrate external services, interfaces, and platforms into an existing backend architecture.
• Utilize Pydantic for validation, serialization, and clear structuring of API data.
• Contribute to reusable backend components in a modular, containerized service landscape.
• Ensure quality through tests, code reviews, linting, and pragmatic technical documentation.

Requirements

• Initial practical experience in software development (e.g., through personal projects, school, internships, or online courses).
• Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language.
• Interest in backend development, APIs, databases, and modern software architectures.
• Logical-analytical thinking and the ability to independently learn new topics.
• Initiative, reliability, and a structured way of working.
• Enjoyment in understanding technical problems and developing own solution approaches.
• Willingness to learn, team spirit, and open communication.
• Initial exposure to Git, databases, or web technologies is a plus.
