Job Title: Project Manager (Broadband/FTTx)

Muxon is a small, internationally active personnel consultancy and conducts this search on behalf of our partner, a rapidly growing, publicly funded telecommunications and infrastructure company focused on building one of Europe's largest municipal fiber optic networks. The company plays a central role in expanding high-speed internet in underserved regions in Southern Germany and offers the opportunity to participate in large-scale, future-oriented FTTx infrastructure projects with high social relevance.

Responsibilities

• Independent management of publicly funded broadband and FTTx expansion projects from planning to final acceptance.
• Coordination of all project participants, including civil engineering companies, planning offices, municipalities, and internal teams.
• Management of schedules, budgets, quality standards, and funding compliance across multiple project phases.
• Support and monitoring of tendering and awarding procedures for planning and construction services.
• Creation of regular project reports for management and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring proper documentation, billing, and compliance with contractual and funding regulations.
• Participation in the continuous improvement and strategic development of expansion and infrastructure processes.

Requirements

• Completed studies in civil engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field; alternatively, a completed vocational training with extensive relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in broadband, fiber optic, network construction, or civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrable experience in project management or project leadership, including supplier and stakeholder management.
• Experience with tendering and awarding procedures in the infrastructure or construction sector.
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and ability for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Very good MS Office skills; GIS or FTTx planning knowledge is an advantage.
• German language skills at C1 level.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ehingen at least 3 days per week.

Salary
This position is aimed at candidates with more than 5 years of professional experience. The salary range is between €75,000 and €90,000 gross per year, depending on experience. The work model is full-time, hybrid (at least 3 days on-site, up to 2 home office days per week). Location: Ehingen an der Donau, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
