Job Title: Customer Service & Social Media Specialist

About
SiPRi is a young, fast-growing security brand from Germany. We develop and distribute smart security products – from alarm bicycle locks with a 120-dB alarm to RFID protection, personal alarms, and safes. Sales are primarily through Amazon and our own Shopify shop, throughout the DACH region. SiPRi is backed by two founders: Stefan Priesmeier brings over 40 years of experience in security technology, and Simon Bartsch is responsible for strategy, marketing, and operations. We work lean, fast, and digital – and are looking for reinforcement to grow with us.

Responsibilities
Customer Service:

  • Processing customer inquiries via Amazon, Shopify, and email – friendly, competent, and fast.
  • Resolving complaints, returns, and warranty claims in coordination with the team.
  • Managing and responding to product reviews and ratings.
  • Developing and maintaining response templates and FAQs to continuously improve service.

Social Media:

  • Managing our social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) – posting, community management, comments, and messages.
  • Creating and planning content in coordination with marketing (images, short captions, simple clips).
  • Monitoring trends and competitors, and gathering content ideas.
  • Supporting the evaluation of key metrics (reach, engagement, response times).

Requirements

  • Excellent German language skills, written and spoken – you formulate clearly, friendly, and error-free.
  • Initial experience in customer service, social media, or e-commerce (also possible as a career changer).
  • Confident use of common digital tools; experience with Amazon, Shopify, or social media tools is a plus.
  • Independent, structured, and reliable work style – important in a remote setup.
  • A good sense for language, brand, and a professional tone.
  • Own technical equipment (laptop, stable internet) for working from home.
