Responsibilities

• Ensure the flawless functioning of technical systems, including commissioning, shutdown, and operational control of the Rhein-Galerie Ludwigshafen (RGLU) shopping center.
• Conduct thorough and proactive safety inspections of technical systems, escape routes, and other relevant areas.
• Serve as the first point of contact for technical malfunctions, performing initial diagnostics and minor repairs as needed.
• Coordinate external service providers and accompany third-party companies during construction measures.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in a trade (e.g., electrical or gas/water installation) or equivalent qualification, with at least two to three years of experience in building management.
• All-around technical talent capable of finding solutions for all requirements in collaboration with partners, colleagues, and superiors, demonstrating friendliness and respect.
• Willingness to take responsibility for smaller projects, work independently, and be available for shift and on-call duty.
• Digitally proficient with experience in the MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with operating building automation systems (GLT) and programs is ideal, as are basic knowledge of ventilation and electrical systems.
• Experience with NSHV switchgear systems, emergency power systems, and heating/ventilation technology is desirable.
• Very good command of German (written and spoken) and basic English skills.
