Responsibilities

  • People Development & 360° Feedback: Initiate, process, and derive action plans from 360° feedback. Organize, moderate, and manage feedback and perspective meetings, including follow-ups and milestones, in collaboration with Heads of.
  • Nurturing, Challenging & Growth Zone: Develop individuals, empower and guide them into their growth zone with support, not pressure. Strategically and long-term develop teams together with the Heads of.
  • Salary Accountability & Fair Career Levels: Develop salary proposals based on results and goals, ensuring a fair and transparent salary structure along our career levels.
  • HR Operations & Point of Contact: Manage reliable, confidential, and efficient HR processes in Personio, from contracts to absence planning. Serve as the point of contact for teams regarding benefits, absences, and further education.
  • Onboarding & Personnel Selection: Design an onboarding process that is both professionally and personally supportive. Support talent management and make hiring decisions together with the Heads of.
  • Employee Retention & Morale: Sense the need for discussion, offer safe spaces and coffee dates, address team sentiment early, and strengthen team cohesion. Design, plan, and organize team events, and use surveys and retrospectives to foster team growth.
  • Tag Team with the Heads of: Work closely with the Heads of your teams as a cohesive unit, jointly developing individuals both professionally and personally, with a focus on people, development, and morale.
  • Culture, Values & Smart Processes: Anchor our values – quality, reliability, and development – in daily work, think in processes, and use AI to minimize administrative effort.

Requirements

  • More than 3 years of experience in People & Culture / HR / People Development, ideally in a dynamic service environment.
  • Genuine interest in people and their development; experience in guiding employees (feedback, coaching, sparring) and a desire to challenge them.
  • Proficient in feedback, development, and difficult conflict conversations – empathetic, appreciative, and confident.
  • Proficient with HR software (ideally Personio), onboarding, and HR administration; data diligence and confidentiality are essential.
  • Proactive mindset, process-oriented thinking, solution-focused approach, and ability to use AI to minimize administrative tasks. Ability to manage multiple teams and work independently.
  • Willingness to organize team events and be present at other locations for your teams.
  • Regular presence required in Cologne or Hamburg.
  • Fluent German language skills (English is a plus but not required).
  • Nice-to-have: Coaching certification, experience with change/organizational development, or L&D concepts.
  • Alignment with our values and culture.
