Job Description

To expand our business in Ireland, Brainlab is seeking a motivated Application Consultant to support our team and portfolio. You will be responsible for customer development activities, including training, clinical support, and ongoing maintenance of the Brainlab Spine Surgery portfolio. You will become the primary support contact for our key customer group as their clinical service commences and develops. This role involves maintaining and developing a professional, innovative, and supportive image of Brainlab with customers and competitors. Training will be provided at our headquarters in Munich, Germany, with on-the-job experience gained alongside colleagues in the UK and Ireland. This position offers a home office setup.

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Conducting customer trainings on the use of Spine Surgery products.
  • Supporting the sales team with detailed onsite and offsite product presentations.
  • Providing on-site guidance and assistance to physicians and medical physicists during patient treatments.
  • Communicating with strategic partners and developing creative mid- and long-term strategies aligned with Brainlab's corporate strategy.
  • Updating the customer database and completing mandatory administrative tasks.
  • Attending national and international meetings and symposia.
  • Additional responsibilities include telephone contact, planning and follow-up of customer visits, and technical consultation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Certification in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Medical Dosimetry, or equivalent.
  • Excellent training skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Additional language knowledge and clinical experience are advantageous.
  • Technical training/education experience in a professional or academic environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually, with minimal supervision amidst changing priorities and demanding deadlines.
  • Commitment to quality with excellent attention to detail.
  • High comfort level with software and technology in general.
