What You’ll Be Up To

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services on AWS, focusing on Python-based applications and AI-driven products.
• Engage in full-stack development, including backend APIs and select frontend components using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability while balancing development speed.
• Mentor and guide junior AI engineers with technical and architectural insights.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders, AI engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver AI-related products and platform capabilities.
• Contribute to future platform initiatives, potentially involving the .NET-based Storefront API ecosystem.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with advanced Python proficiency for scalable backend systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, code quality, and engineering best practices.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and excel as a senior individual contributor.
• Hands-on C#/.NET development experience is required for our long-term platform strategy.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills within fast-growing teams.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to guide junior engineers and scale engineering excellence.

Nice to Have

• Frontend development experience with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Interest or experience in AI-related products, machine learning, or data engineering.
