Data Entry Clerk

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and computer-savvy Data Entry Clerk to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately input information into our database from paper documents. The ideal candidate is a fast typist with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of data confidentiality principles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our company has accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible digital data.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Effectively communicate with internal departments.
• Enter data accurately and precisely into the database.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Cleanse outdated data from the system.
• Verify the accuracy of data, orders, and invoices.
• Perform all administrative duties professionally.
• Answer telephones as required, though not a primary duty.

Experience / Attributes:

• Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to problem-solve effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Strong written, numerical, and verbal skills.
