Job Description

We are expanding our onboarding and data implementation capabilities to support client growth on MUFG’s platform. As the Onboarding and Data Implementation Lead, you will own the setup and migration of fund and client data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. You will collaborate across business units to ensure smooth new fund launches and continuously improve our processes, directly shaping the client experience during critical onboarding moments.

What You’ll Own:

• Lead end-to-end system setups and static data configuration for new fund launches and client onboarding.
• Manage complex conversions, including data migration, reinitialization, and system reconfiguration.
• Build and maintain accurate fund structures using offering documents and best practices.
• Analyze NAV and share registry data to identify and resolve discrepancies before go-live.
• Coordinate conversion plans and timelines with internal teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
• Champion data quality by ensuring all setups meet internal standards and regulatory requirements (ISAE/SOC).
• Create and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to simplify and scale onboarding processes.
• Partner with Technology and Product teams to automate and enhance client and investor data management.

What You Bring:

Essential:

• Experience in fund administration, investment management, or audit, with a strong understanding of fund structures and data flows.
• Proven project experience in onboarding, conversions, or data migrations, demonstrating the ability to manage complexity and timelines.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles for validating NAV and financial data.
• Sharp attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Valued:

• Experience with systems such as Advent Geneva, Investran, Yardi, Mantra, Flexcube, Sentry, Workiva, Finbourne, Lemonedge, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with data tools, warehouses, or workflow platforms like JIRA or Workiva.
• Exposure to digital transformation or automation initiatives in financial services.
• Experience working with private equity, hedge funds, or traditional fund structures.
