About the Role
Oscar is seeking an Associate, Total Quality Management to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate across business and technical stakeholders, representing the department's needs in strategic initiatives and problem-solving related to internal processes. You will lead the design, optimization, and implementation of processes, improvements, and platforms to achieve organizational goals. This involves collecting business requirements, building project plans, documenting key decisions, managing project governance, and applying frameworks. You'll also analyze data and develop risk mitigation strategies across various initiatives and stakeholders.
You will report to the Associate Director, Quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations and projects, including creating project plans, engaging stakeholders, and managing relationships to drive collaboration and ensure on-time completion.
- Evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics; assist in developing departmental metrics and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards.
- Perform trend and variance analysis to identify performance drivers.
- Align audit forecasts with business objectives and changes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to formulate proactive implementation, communication, and program strategies for change management and risk mitigation.
- Apply strong analytical and modeling skills to solve complex business problems.
- Analyze data to support data-driven decision-making and mentor team members.
- Support other strategic projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in operations and/or health insurance.
- 2+ years of experience using data software such as Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or other data analytics tools.
- 2+ years of experience with end-to-end project management in a cross-functional environment.
- 2+ years of experience in administering operational, quality, or analytics platforms, including requirements gathering, workflow documentation, vendor evaluation support, and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Experience managing, presenting, and owning stakeholder management.
- 2+ years of experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Theory of Constraints.
