About the Role:

Oscar Medical Group operates a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members for evaluation and management visits. You will also support other teams within Oscar Medical Group, including Virtual Primary Care and Virtual Urgent Care, as needed. You will report to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

This is a remote role.

Hours:

  • 8 am - 8 pm EST Monday - Thursday
  • 8 am - 6 pm EST Friday & Saturday
  • 8-hour shifts (scheduled for 9 hours, including a 1-hour lunch break).
  • One late shift per week (ending at 8 pm EST) is required.
  • Two Saturday shifts are required per quarter.

Work Location:

This is a remote position, open to candidates residing in: Arizona; Arkansas; California; Colorado; District of Columbia; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Massachusetts; Michigan; Nevada; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Ohio; Pennsylvania; Texas; or Virginia. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative care screenings, complete medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions, and provide health coaching, referrals, and treatment when clinically appropriate.
  • Outreach to members with chronic illnesses based on historical and suspected health information.
  • Engage members who have a lower probability of seeing their PCP.
  • Identify opportunities to improve member's medical journey by increasing their access to care with a licensed provider.
  • Cross-train into urgent care and/or virtual primary care service lines.
  • Interact with members virtually, including virtual assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • PA or DNP, FNP, ENP from an accredited program.
  • Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
  • Compact RN (NP only).
  • Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement and/or managing HEDIS quality measures.
  • Physician Assistant: Must be fully licensed in Georgia AND one of the following states: Florida, Texas, or Ohio.
  • Nurse Practitioner: Must be fully licensed in at least 2 of the following states: Florida, Texas, Ohio, New Jersey.
  • Bilingual - Spanish fluency (read, write, & speak) is required.
  • Ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
  • 3+ years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is $116,400 - $152,775 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, an annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year, and annual performance bonuses.
