About the Role:
Spreetail is seeking a talented Software Engineer III to join our technology-driven team. You will design, build, and maintain the critical backend services that power our fulfillment operations, including inventory management, order processing, and carrier integrations. You will own the reliability and correctness of transactional systems essential for daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for fulfillment operations.
• Ensure the reliability and correctness of transactional systems.
• Lead technical design within your pod, driving architecture decisions and maintaining high code quality.
• Identify and address systemic issues such as performance bottlenecks and data consistency gaps.
• Debug and resolve production issues quickly, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers and operations teams to translate requirements into software design.
• Mentor Software Engineer IIs and elevate the team's overall engineering quality.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong backend focus.
• Deep proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Familiarity with downstream ML pipelines (Python, dbt, Dagster).
• Experience with SQL Server / PostgreSQL.
• Experience with AI tooling like Claude Code.
• Proficiency in AWS (EKS, S3, SQS, EventBridge).
• Experience with CI/CD using GitLab pipelines and containerized deployments.
