What You'll Own:

• Manage a defined set of named strategic accounts across UK and EMEA, focusing on existing customers with expansion potential and high-probability prospects, as well as targeted greenfield acquisition.
• Full-cycle sales responsibility: discovery, ROI structuring, multi-stakeholder alignment, and closing deals.
• Deals range from £100k to £1M+ ARR, with typical sales cycles of 6 to 12 months. Buyers include CIOs, CTOs, and CFOs.
• Focus on engineering budget governance and AI risk, positioning BlueOptima as a strategic solution rather than just another monitoring tool.
• Leverage an inbound engine generating enterprise interest, a dedicated SDR team utilizing modern prospecting tools (6Sense, Cognism, Clay), and an active Customer Success organization driving expansion.

What the Role Requires:

• Consistent history of closing £100k+ ARR deals ( £250k+ strongly preferred) with buyers such as CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, or CFOs.
• Proven ability to build account strategy within large, matrixed organizations.
• Skill in framing business cases effectively before presenting solutions.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: engineering platforms, developer tooling, data and analytics, or enterprise software.
• Rigorous pipeline discipline, including accurate forecasting, clean qualification, and honest deal assessment.

The ideal candidate understands the current market shift towards AI governance as a new budget line, recognizing that deal sizes reflect enterprise transformation rather than simple seat expansion. Fortune 50 companies and global banks are already implementing these solutions.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: £85,000 - £100,000 (Plus uncapped Commission with meaningful accelerators above target).
• Equity: EMI options available and offered to senior hires.
