Product Manager, Backend Trading Systems

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to define the product direction and roadmap for our backend trading systems. This pivotal role involves enhancing core systems such as the matching engine, risk engines, and pricing models for derivatives products, including Futures, Margin, Options, and Event Contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Set the product direction and roadmap for backend trading systems.
• Improve core systems like the matching engine, risk engines, and pricing models for derivatives products (Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts, etc.).
• Collaborate with trading engineering teams to translate complex trading needs into effective technical solutions.
• Lead the full product lifecycle, from planning and release to ongoing feature development and launch.
• Monitor backend system performance and proactively address issues before they impact users.
• Ensure systems comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Product management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Deep understanding of financial products such as Margin, Futures, Perpetual Swaps, and Options.
• Technical or quantitative background (e.g., Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Mathematics).
• Ability to comprehend trading logic and risk methodologies, and translate them into clear product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred for coordinating with global stakeholders and overseas partners.
