About the Role:
Aprio's Real Estate/Construction Tax team seeks a dynamic Senior Tax Manager for its Greensboro, NC office. This pivotal role focuses on driving strategic growth within the local market, with a strong emphasis on business development. You will lead and manage the tax practice, expand the client base, and increase market share. As the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, you will provide expert tax planning, compliance, and consulting services tailored to the unique needs of the Real Estate and Construction industries.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the tax practice in Greensboro, NC, focusing on client acquisition and market share growth.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients in the region.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, providing comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and consulting services.
- Stay current on industry trends, tax laws, and regulations to offer cutting-edge tax solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- CPA or other relevant credentials required.
- Recent work experience with a public accounting firm.
- 10+ years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance within public accounting, preferably in the Real Estate, Construction, or Manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of partnerships and/or other business returns.
- Proven success in business development.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Computer expertise, including knowledge of tax software and technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
