About the Role

We are seeking a driven and technically adept individual to join our Trading Engine team as a Senior API Solutions Engineer. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on software development and client-facing engagement, focusing on the Binance Trading API. You will be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that collaborates closely with some of our exchange's largest global clients, assisting them in integrating and optimizing their trading strategies through our APIs.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation, excellent programming skills, and a deep understanding of exchange APIs. You should also enjoy interacting with developers and clients, providing expert guidance, and contributing to the broader API community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain open-source libraries essential for client API integrations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for REST APIs and WebSocket connectivity, providing support and advisory services to our key global clients.
• Collaborate with clients to design and optimize their trading algorithms, enhancing efficiency and performance on the exchange.

Requirements

• Strong programming proficiency, particularly in Python and/or JavaScript (Node.js). Prior experience with exchange APIs is highly valued.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects is a plus.
• Business-level English proficiency. Fluency in additional widely spoken languages is an advantage for supporting our global clientele.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• A curious mindset with a strong eagerness to learn, experiment, and explore new technologies.
