Project Coordinator (Software Development)

TenMedia has been developing custom software for medium-sized businesses, public administration, and critical infrastructure operators for over 14 years. Our software operates in environments where downtime is not an option. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to holistically manage our projects from tender to acceptance.

About the Role

You will be the organizational hub connecting clients, development teams, and management, ensuring each project runs smoothly from start to finish. This role involves continuous project lifecycle management, not just isolated tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender processes and collaboratively create comprehensive IT proposals.
• Maintain Scrum boards, track tickets and statuses, clarify open points with developers, and prepare sprints.
• Coordinate and conduct client meetings (often with a developer or project lead), including preparation, minutes, and follow-up.
• Assist with software testing and acceptance, gaining a thorough understanding of projects.
• Create monthly invoices and maintain records and documentation.
• Plan team events.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional experience in project coordination, project assistance, proposal management, or procurement.
• Ability to think in terms of projects and maintain oversight from proposal to acceptance.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Confident and friendly demeanor in client communication.
• High technical affinity: Understand project content, comprehend IT proposals, and contribute to software testing discussions (programming not required).
• Negotiation-level German language skills (C1/C2) as project language is predominantly German.
• Proficient in MS Office; willingness to learn modern AI tools.
• Experience with Scrum or agile processes is a plus, but not required.
