Job Description

Purpose

This role is responsible for the conceptual design, architecture, and technical solution implementation using multiple technologies and vendors. You will guarantee the realization, implementation, and functionality of developed solutions. This includes consulting with potential customers during the pre-sales phase, analyzing customer demands, translating requirements into technical specifications, and evaluating production costs. You will also steer international teams of experts to deliver solutions and define SLA specifications, including the transition and transformation phases for handover to support and operational delivery units.

What Will You Do?

• Design and implement scalable and secure Data Center solutions, including compute, storage, and networking components.
• Architect and optimize virtualized environments using VMware products (vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, etc.).
• Develop comprehensive network designs, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with application requirements and business goals.
• Provide technical leadership during incidents, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, and driving resolution.
• Establish best practices and standards for infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
• Assess and incorporate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities and performance.
• Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and operating procedures for future reference and audits.

Qualifications

You Will Succeed If You Have:

• HCI and Private Cloud skills.
• Primary knowledge in Hyperconverged Infrastructure based on VMware VCD and Nutanix NCP.
• Primary knowledge in Advanced VMware and Nutanix platform engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in Ansible Automation Platform, Infrastructure-as-Code, and multi-vendor network automation.
• Ansible & SD-WAN familiarity.
• Strong technical foundation and deep understanding of cloud platforms.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures.
• Understanding of networking, security, IAM, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to translate business needs into architecture.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and change.
• Strong collaboration and influence skills.
• 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure/network engineering.
• 4+ years of advanced automation delivery experience.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable and depends on seniority level and previous experience. In addition to a base salary, we offer a variable component and other financial benefits. The base salary will not be lower than €2500 gross.
