About the Role

The Principal Cloud Consultant is responsible for defining cloud strategies, migration roadmaps, and building cloud governance models to help global customers successfully adopt public cloud services and achieve their strategic goals. You will guide customers through their cloud transformation journey on AWS, Azure, or GCP, providing technical and strategic direction.

What You'll Do

• Define cloud strategies, migration roadmaps, and build cloud governance models.
• Assist global customers in successfully adopting public cloud to support their strategic objectives.
• Guide customers in shaping their journey of adopting AWS, Azure, or GCP, offering technical and strategic guidance to accelerate cloud transformation.
• Lead customer engagements from pre-sales through delivery, acting as a liaison between the customer, sales, and technical project teams.
• Conduct customer workshops to understand technology and business drivers, and present technical concepts.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to enhance the Cloud Adoption portfolio by providing insights from customer projects and market trends.
• Advise on technology and strategic vision, define cloud adoption and migration strategies, and facilitate hand-offs to architect and migration teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in English and German.
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Consulting experience from a large IT or Management-Consulting company.
• Sales/Pre-Sales experience.
• Deep technical understanding of public cloud technologies and practical experience in public cloud adoption and migration.
• Experience advocating for and implementing Cloud Adoption Frameworks on AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with other best practices.
• Familiarity with application discovery tools and cloud migration software is an asset but not essential.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, self-organization, effectiveness, and customer orientation.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps, PaaS & SaaS cloud services, Containerization, Virtual Machine migration, and Database Migration (Oracle, MS SQL, NoSQL) is advantageous.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable. Base salary will not be lower than 2200 € /brutto, depending on seniority and experience, in addition to variable pay and other financial benefits.

Additional Information

• Remote working is only available within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.
