We are seeking a sharp and agile AML/CFT Compliance Specialist to safeguard our platform, players, and ecosystem against financial crime.

Position Overview

This role goes beyond policy adherence; you will actively build and implement compliance measures. Collaborating closely with Compliance, Data Science, and Engineering teams, you will develop the essential pipelines, risk models, and dashboards to protect Blaze from financial crime. Your core mission is to automate risk detection, refine our screening algorithms, and ensure our data infrastructure reliably supports accurate regulatory reporting to COAF and the SPA.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture & Reporting: Construct, maintain, and scale robust AML/CFT data pipelines and automated monitoring systems for seamless, real-time regulatory reporting to COAF and the SPA.
• Predictive Risk Modeling: Develop, tune, and manage predictive Risk Scoring models using advanced data analytics and machine learning to accurately classify and monitor player risk levels.
• Sanctions & Screening Integration: Design and optimize data integrations with global sanctions and risk watchlists (PEP, UN, OFAC), fine-tuning algorithms for data quality, maximum coverage, and reduced false positives.
• Policy to Code Translation: Translate complex AML/CFT regulatory requirements and internal procedures into structured data logic, automated rule engines, and efficient operational workflows.
• Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics: Create and maintain executive dashboards, KPI tracking systems, and BI reports essential for annual effectiveness assessments and regulatory audits.
• The KYX Framework: Partner with engineering teams to integrate data-driven logic into KYC, KYP, KYE, and KYS processes, leveraging advanced analytics for streamlined case management.
• Advanced Fraud & Forensic Detection: Proactively analyze transactional data to identify subtle patterns, structural anomalies, and behavioral trends indicative of money laundering or fraud.
• Risk Metric Frameworks: Develop and maintain risk matrices and quantitative frameworks to measure the effectiveness of internal controls annually.
• Advanced Behavioral Analytics: Identify patterns, anomalies, and behavioral trends within transactional data to proactively detect financial crime indicators.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a closely related quantitative field.
• High-Volume Data Environments: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Analytics or Data Engineering, preferably within iGaming, FinTech, E-commerce, or Digital Banking, environments characterized by massive transaction volumes and real-time processing.
• AML/CFT Frameworks: A strong conceptual understanding of financial crime indicators, transaction monitoring, and familiarity with PEP/OFAC/Sanctions lists.
• The "Translator" Ability: Demonstrated capacity to interpret complex legal/compliance documentation and translate it into mathematical formulas or automated rule code.
• Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced digital environment.
