About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Business Analyst to join the Operational Change team in Manchester. This role offers the chance to progress your career by providing business analysis services to support AJ Bell's growth and cost targets. You will be instrumental in investigating, modeling, and defining business processes and requirements to drive efficiency and improve systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows, and data structures in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
• Produce high-quality business analysis deliverables using appropriate documentation styles and tools.
• Create high-quality specifications.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, presenting findings and actions verbally and in writing.
• Assist in defining user acceptance tests for new or improved business processes and IT systems.
• Analyze solutions by modeling processes, mapping data, and performing gap, impact, and risk analysis.
• Support internal development teams and external suppliers in change implementation.
• Identify areas for system and process improvement to increase efficiency and bring them to management attention.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrable experience of 3-5 years as a Business Analyst in a professional setting.
• Possession of, or substantial progress towards, a recognized Business Analysis professional qualification.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance protocols.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Exemplary organizational skills with a track record of meeting stringent deadlines.
• Demonstrated proactive approach and solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies and their practical application.
