About the Role

Join the Revenue Engine team, which builds the technology powering a seamless financial experience for patients and streamlining revenue operations. You will develop patient-facing tools for financial clarity and payment management, as well as internal products to optimize insurance billing and revenue collection. This role offers the opportunity to own products end-to-end, move fast on highly visible work, and make a significant impact on both the patient care experience and business growth. Success in this role requires curiosity, a passion for the patient and stakeholder experience, and a desire to own products from inception to launch.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality, performant, maintainable features using React, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Set strong patterns for the engineering team, supported by modern AI tools for rapid development.
• Collaborate with teammates across the organization to understand the business and drive data modeling discussions.
• Own products by partnering with product and design to iterate on solutions.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to engineering processes, tools, and procedures.
• Promote a culture of collaboration and learning through mentoring, documentation, and presentations.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure client access to care.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience developing user-facing web applications that deliver meaningful business value.
• Expertise and hands-on production experience with an application programming language, preferably Python and/or JavaScript.
• Excellent ability to manage ambiguity and break down complex problems into tractable solutions.
• Meaningful scope within an application engineering team, with experience making important technical tradeoff decisions.
• Experience developing high-quality code leveraging modern AI tooling (e.g., using Claude Code).
• Growth mindset, resilience, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and a sense of humor.

Additional Information:

• Total target base compensation is between $170,000 and $220,000 per year. Pay is determined by location, experience, leveling, expertise, internal pay equity, and business needs. Cash compensation is part of a total compensation package that may include stock options and other benefits.
