EcoEnergineers is a growing company focused on energy consulting, building physics, and efficient building concepts. We are expanding our collaboration with the prefabricated house construction sector and are looking for a dedicated individual to help us build a new business area.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate individual to help establish and grow a new business division focused on energy efficiency planning within the prefabricated house construction sector. This role is not about sales or cold acquisition. You will be the technical point of contact for an existing partner, coordinating energy planning, and ensuring recurring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and reliably.

Initially, you will be hands-on, contributing to calculations, certifications, coordination, and quality assurance. Concurrently, you will develop processes, templates, and standards to transform individual projects into a well-functioning business area. As project volume increases, there is a clear path to a Team Lead role.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate energy efficiency projects for new construction, primarily in the prefabricated house sector.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for our partner, regularly coordinating with all involved parties.
• Create and review energy performance certificates, calculations, and documentation according to GEG, BEG/KfW, DIN V 18599, and QNG standards.
• Work on topics related to thermal insulation, summer heat protection, building envelopes, technical systems, and energy optimizations.
• Optimize structures for recurring processes and develop templates, standards, and working methods.
• Support with funding applications, particularly related to BAFA and KfW.
• Collaborate closely with management and contribute your own ideas.
• Assist in building a small team for efficiency house planning.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Energy and Building Technology, Building Physics, or a comparable qualification.
• Approximately 2 to 8 years of experience in energy consulting, efficiency house planning, thermal insulation, or building physics.
• Proficiency in energy performance certificates according to GEG; ideally with experience in DIN V 18599, BEG/KfW, or efficiency house standards.
• Familiarity with Hottgenroth or willingness to learn.
• Enjoy technical communication with clients and planning partners.
• A proactive attitude with a desire to build a business area, not just complete tasks.
