About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Delivery Manager with a consulting mindset to join our growing team. You will be responsible for cultivating high-performing teams and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. This role drives delivery excellence and value outcomes with speed and quality on programs/projects, leveraging Agile and hybrid practices.

What You'll Do

• Program Delivery: Lead large or multiple small programs; manage complex/high-profile projects.
• Delivery Consulting: Consult on delivery strategies, frameworks, tools, and processes; drive agile and product delivery methods; solve complex delivery issues.
• Project Planning: Oversee and/or create detailed project plans based on methodology, scope, constraints, risks, and dependencies.
• Budget Management: Proactively manage program/project budgets, monitor burn/velocity, develop burndown reports, report on margin performance and revenue forecasting, and develop plans to course-correct over-budget projects.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks; triage projects in the red; escalate as needed; openly discuss risks with clients.
• Client Partnership: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients in delivery, build strong client relationships, and act as a delivery leader and consultant.
• Scope Management: Understand scope, manage to it, prioritize scope, and estimate/create/deliver change orders.
• Account Growth: Support Business Development teams in estimating, pitching, and scoping work; drive delivery strategies during the sales phase; partner with Client Partners to grow existing accounts.
• Tools Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of Smartsheet and Atlassian suite (Jira; Confluence).
• Team Leadership: Lead globally distributed cross-functional teams; manage resourcing processes.
• Practice Involvement: Actively participate in initiatives to mature the Horizontal Delivery team; identify and propose process improvements.
• Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor junior program managers and team members.

Who You Are

• Digital Consulting Experience: Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide digital transformations; deep expertise in CMS, CRM, CDP, Sitecore, Salesforce products; ability to collaborate with clients on customized solutions; experience advising C-suite executives on digital transformation best practices; ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
• Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-disciplinary digital projects/programs; strategic mindset; experience managing global, distributed teams; ability to define and manage complex contracts; proactive risk management; strong financial acumen; proficiency with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies/tools; analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team Leadership and Development: Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams; strong leadership skills; mentorship and coaching skills; effective conflict resolution skills.
• Effective Communication and Presentation: Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly; influence and persuasion skills; executive-level communication skills.
• What You Bring: Minimum 10+ years of experience leading digital projects/programs; minimum 5 years agency/consultancy experience (7+ preferred); Bachelor’s degree preferred; Certifications in Agile methodologies (CSM, PMI-ACP); Experience and certifications in scaling Agile methodologies (SAFe Agilist/SPC) preferred.
