About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multiple development teams (8-15 members each) across mobile, web, and backend domains. You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions, providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers. This role involves managing team performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation, and ensuring scalable architecture decisions aligned with business goals. You will manage remote and distributed teams effectively and support systems with 500K+ daily active users, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple development teams (8-15 members each) across mobile, web, and backend domains.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions using our tech stack.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers across frontend, backend, and cloud-based technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Business to drive project success.
• Ensure software development best practices, high-quality code, and optimal system performance.
• Manage team performance, set goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation within the teams.
• Drive technical excellence and ensure scalable architecture decisions aligned with business goals.
• Manage remote and distributed teams effectively while maintaining productivity and engagement.
• Handle systems with 500K+ daily active users, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Support and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.
• Work with microservices and micro frontend architectures to build scalable and modular applications.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software development with hands-on coding expertise.
• 2+ years of experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Good communication in English, enabling effective communication with different teams and stakeholders within the company.
• Experience and in-depth knowledge in backend OOP languages (preferably Java, Node.js, Nest.js) or open-source technologies.
• Experience with relational databases and queries (e.g., SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with GitOps environments (e.g., ArgoCD, Kubestack, or similar).
• Experience in automation code deployments or tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or similar).
• Experience in container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
• Experience with complex systems, understanding the latest in open API standards and service-oriented architecture.
