About the Role
As an IT Field Service Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing on-site and remote support for their IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
Responsibilities
- Support our clients on-site and remotely during service calls.
- Handle service requests and resolve issues within the Microsoft Client, Server, and Network environment.
- Install, configure, and commission PCs, notebooks, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Perform hardware replacements, new installations, rollouts, migrations, and IT relocations.
- Set up and commission new IT workstations.
- Analyze and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Assist with the administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Provide support for network, server, and infrastructure topics.
- Document all activities in the ticketing system.
- Serve as the on-site technical contact for clients.
Qualifications
- Completed IT training, retraining, degree, or comparable practical experience.
- Career changers with technical affinity and IT passion are explicitly welcome.
- Career starters are encouraged – motivation, willingness to learn, and initiative are more important than extensive experience.
- Basic to good knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems, Microsoft 365, hardware, and networks.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Server, Active Directory, or Azure is a plus.
- Interest in modern IT infrastructures, networks, and cloud technologies.
- High degree of customer orientation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and goal-oriented.
- Team player with an interest in new technologies.
- Valid driver's license Class B (required).
- Willingness to travel within the region.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.
