About the Role:
Join Benesch as a Roadway Design Technical Manager in Atlanta, GA, and play a pivotal role in delivering complex roadway projects across Georgia. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to balance in-office collaboration with remote work. You will be instrumental in shaping transportation solutions, mentoring the next generation of engineering talent, and making a lasting impact on our clients and communities. You'll combine hands-on technical expertise, mentorship, and project leadership.

Key Projects:
Our Georgia Division is actively involved in impactful projects such as the West Broad Roundabout, North Oconee River Greenway, Firefly Trail, and Langley Park & North Augusta Amphitheater, showcasing our commitment to improving the places where people live, work, and connect.

Your Impact:
In this technical leadership role, you will:

• Lead the technical delivery of roadway design projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Mentor and develop engineers, strengthening the technical capabilities of our Georgia roadway team.
• Guide project teams in selecting appropriate design approaches, software, and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to achieve successful client and community outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource across multiple projects and disciplines.
• Support the growth of our roadway practice through innovation and technical excellence.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7+ years of roadway engineering experience.
• Experience with GDOT projects (preferred).
• Proficiency in MicroStation; Open Roads Designer experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of roadway design principles, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
• A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional work.
