About the Role

Our partner company in Munich is seeking a Simulation Engineer for Electrical Engineering (m/f/d). You will model and simulate the vehicle's electrical system using modern simulation software like MATLAB Simulink. As part of the development team, you will support the setup and further development of digital twin approaches in the automotive sector. You will analyze physical effects such as heat flow, vibrations, and EMC hotspots on assemblies and systems, working closely with electronics and mechanics development to utilize their simulation models for integrated solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Model and simulate the electrical vehicle network using modern simulation software (e.g., MATLAB Simulink).
  • Support the development and advancement of digital twin approaches within the automotive environment.
  • Analyze physical effects (e.g., heat flow, vibrations, EMC hotspots) on assemblies and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with electronics and mechanics development teams, utilizing their simulation models for integrated solutions.
  • Evaluate and document simulation results, contributing to the optimization of system design.

Qualifications

  • Completed Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a comparable engineering discipline.
  • Proficient experience in simulation theory and with tools like MATLAB Simulink or comparable simulation software.
  • Ideally, professional experience as a Simulation Engineer (m/f/d), Development Engineer (m/f/d), Calculation Engineer (m/f/d), or Systems Engineer (m/f/d).
  • Very good MS Office skills.
  • Very good command of German and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong team player with the willingness and ability for interdisciplinary collaboration.
