About AlayaCare
AlayaCare is a rapidly growing SaaS company transforming home healthcare. Our cloud-based platform empowers care providers globally to deliver better outcomes. With over 550 employees across Canada, the US, Australia, and Brazil, we are united by a shared mission and a strong culture of transparency, growth, and human connection.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager (EVV) to own the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) product roadmap across US state programs. You will manage the lifecycle of state aggregator integrations (HHAeXchange, Sandata) and ensure our homecare agency customers remain EVV-compliant. This role requires a blend of regulatory domain expertise, technical fluency in data exchange and APIs, and program management skills, particularly with hard compliance deadlines.
What You'll Do
- Lead the strategic vision and product lifecycle for AlayaCare’s EVV product line, including gathering requirements for US state aggregator integrations, defining the EVV roadmap, and collaborating with Engineering, Client Success, Legal, and Sales to meet compliance and revenue goals.
- Be accountable for product success, balancing priorities, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving innovation while meeting customer needs and business objectives.
- Deeply understand the US EVV regulatory landscape and competitive environment, monitoring state Medicaid EVV mandates, 21st Century Cures Act timelines, and aggregator specifications to identify compliance gaps and opportunities.
- Define business plans, segmentation, targeting, user profiles, market opportunity assessments, cost/pricing analysis, positioning, go-to-market strategy, and integration plans.
- Gather and analyze product data, including web analytics, statistics, and consumer trends.
- Determine feature requirements and research customer experiences to drive improvements.
- Outline a detailed product strategy and define KPIs for EVV features (e.g., submission rates, rejection rates, bypass frequency, certification cycle times), driving continuous improvement.
- Influence senior stakeholders and executives on mastered topics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Product Management with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Proactively identify problems and propose solutions.
- Lead product positioning, pricing strategy, and messaging.
- Deliver product training and demonstrations.
- Mentor and formally lead Associate PMs and Product Managers.
- Handle escalated concerns and complex requirements.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert on EVV regulations, aggregator protocols (SFTP, REST/JSON), submission formats, and certification requirements, serving as the primary escalation point for compliance-related questions.
- Participate in setting and executing product strategy, making critical decisions, and influencing senior leaders.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-6+ years of hands-on product management experience, with strong focus on Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).
- Technical background with experience in software development or web technologies.
- Proficiency in compiling project status, risk management, and reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a changing environment with a growth mindset and bias for action.
- Strong team player, able to work effectively with developers, QA, UX, Technical Support, and Sales.
- Skills in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedback.
- Ability to analyze industry trends and competitor behavior.
- Ability to quickly identify improved product features and contribute to marketing strategies.
- Ability to maintain strong customer relations and provide product support.
- Competency in training internal departments on new product features.
- Experience in home health, homecare, or personal care services is required.
- Direct experience with US Medicaid EVV programs and/or the 21st Century Cures Act (Section 12006) is strongly preferred.
