Load Coverage Specialist

Zelh, a fast-growing outsourcing company, is looking for a Load Coverage Specialist for one of its clients. About the Role

As a Load Coverage / Booking Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing carriers for available freight in a timely and profitable manner. You will ensure all customer shipments are covered within the company’s quality standards, simplifying logistics through collaboration, transparency, and cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily account operations smoothly through strong organization and follow-through.
• Communicate regularly with customers and carriers via phone and email.
• Build and manage shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
• Dispatch drivers and ensure trucks arrive on time.
• Track shipments and conduct check calls to monitor progress.
• Identify and qualify carriers that best fit customer needs.
• Communicate shipment details and negotiate rates when needed.
• Proactively reschedule appointments and notify all parties of changes.
• Confirm pickups occurred as scheduled and resolve exceptions quickly.
• Coordinate with drivers and shipping teams to ensure proper loading.
• Provide routing details and clear instructions to drivers.
• Escalate issues early and communicate solutions clearly.
• Assist with collecting required shipment documentation.

Requirements

• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers over the phone and via email.
• Upper-intermediate + English Level.
• 1-2 years’ proven experience working in a Carrier Sales role or a similar logistics role in brokerage.
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
