Tax Senior Associate

Mowery & Schoenfeld is seeking an ambitious and curious tax professional with an interest in business entity taxation, ongoing learning, and exemplary client service to join our business tax team as a Tax Senior Associate. About the Role

As a Tax Senior Associate, you will be involved in taxation processes from start to finish, preparing entity returns, and communicating effectively with clients, team members, company management, and regulatory bodies. You will also mentor associates and interns, with opportunities for one-on-one training and development, providing a clear path for growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entity returns.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, company management, and regulatory bodies.
• Engage in taxation processes from start to finish.
• Mentor associates and interns.

Requirements

We are looking for a curious, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting, with at least 1 year at the senior associate level.
• CPA or CPA eligible.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Project and time management skills.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
