Senior System Administrator (m/f/d) - IT Infrastructure

Join our partner company in Hamburg as a Senior System Administrator to manage and evolve modern enterprise storage solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring the stable operation and continuous development of our IT infrastructure.

About the Role

As an IT specialist in IT infrastructure, you will ensure the stable operation of modern enterprise storage solutions and continuously develop them. You will also be responsible for the configuration and support of complex network environments, including VPN and remote locations. Furthermore, you will optimize processes and increase the efficiency of the IT landscape through targeted automation with PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stable operation and continuous development of modern enterprise storage solutions.
• Configure and manage complex network environments, including VPN and remote locations.
• Optimize IT processes and increase efficiency through targeted automation using PowerShell.
• Accompany internal audit processes in accordance with common security standards like ISO 27001.
• Contribute technical expertise to the connection and setup of new locations.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker for System Integration, System Administrator) or a degree in Computer Science.
• Relevant professional experience as an IT System Administrator, Network Administrator, or IT Infrastructure Specialist.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and VMWare or comparable virtualization environments.
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
• Proficient German language skills.
• Experience with firewalls and VPN solutions, as well as knowledge of switching and routing.
