Our client in the north of Munich is looking for a Verwaltungsfachwirt / Sachbearbeiter Finanzwesen (m/f/d) to join their team. This role involves managing financial planning and accounting for public institutions and related organizations.

About the Role

As a qualified professional in financial administration, you will handle budget and financial planning for public institutions, special accounts, and associated organizations. Your responsibilities will include participating in budget monitoring, including the review, assessment, and reporting of extraordinary expenditures. You will also support the creation of annual financial statements and year-end closing activities within municipal finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Process budgets and financial planning for public institutions, special accounts, and associated organizations.
• Participate in budget monitoring, including reviewing, assessing, and reporting extraordinary expenditures.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and year-end closing activities in municipal finance and accounting.
• Create reports, financial analyses, and committee/resolution proposals.
• Represent tasks in the areas of grants, subsidies, and funding, as well as insurance and cost accounting.

Requirements

• Completed training as a Verwaltungsfachwirt (m/f/d), Verwaltungsfachangestellter (m/f/d) with further qualification (BL II), or a comparable qualification in finance administration, accounting, or treasury.
• Professional experience in public administration, preferably as a Financial Administrator, employee in the treasury department, or in budget planning.
• Ideally, knowledge of municipal budget and cash management law.
• Responsible, reliable, and independent working style with a structured and meticulous approach.
• Proficient German language skills.
