Systemadministrator (m/f/d)

Our partner company in the south of Munich is seeking a System Administrator to manage their internal server and IT infrastructure. This role involves implementing new software solutions, optimizing the IT infrastructure, and providing second-level support to users.

About the Role

As a System Administrator, you will oversee the internal server and IT infrastructure, including Windows, Windows Server, and Linux environments. You will implement and ensure the smooth operation of new software solutions and systems such as DATEV, DATEV DMS, PostgreSQL, or GIT. Your responsibilities will also include planning, expanding, and optimizing the IT infrastructure, including servers, VServers, workstations, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Administer internal server and IT infrastructure (Windows, Windows Server, Linux).
• Implement new software solutions and systems (e.g., DATEV, DATEV DMS, PostgreSQL, GIT) and ensure their smooth operation.
• Plan, expand, and optimize the IT infrastructure (servers, VServers, workstations, mobile devices).
• Provide second-level support to business partners and internal users for hardware and software issues.
• Document processes, conduct regular system checks, and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT security and performance.

Requirements

• Completed IT vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker for System Integration, IT System Administrator) or a comparable qualification.
• Initial professional experience as a System Administrator, in IT Support, or a similar position.
• Experience in building, administering, and maintaining Microsoft-based PC networks; ideally, knowledge of Linux systems.
• Structured, analytical, and proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
• Very good German language skills.
