The Team

The UK Value Engineering team is responsible for our largest Fortune 500 customers, leading their transformation journeys at the frontier of data and AI. Partnering closely with Sales, we ensure the Celonis data & AI platform tackles strategic business challenges, integrates into customer technology stacks, and generates strong ROI through deep deployments.

The Role

As a Lead Value Engineer, you will spearhead data-driven business transformation for our customers, owning their end-to-end value journey. You will act as their trusted technology and business advisor, helping organizations achieve strategic goals and realize significant value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This role encompasses landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing customer engagements. Responsibilities include translating objectives into value assessments or proof-of-value projects, integrating Celonis into customer IT landscapes and AI strategies, building business cases and demos, running value workshops, and engaging with senior stakeholders to deliver results and secure long-term partnerships. The role requires a blend of strategic and practical technology understanding with consulting skills in strategic thinking and program management.

The Work You’ll Do

• Identify & Frame Value: Discover and translate customer priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases. Advise on Celonis' platform integration into IT landscapes and AI strategies. Build demos and business cases. Use hands-on tech skills (SQL/Python) to build AI prototypes. Lead value opportunity and strategic roadmap communication to C-Level executives.
• Realize Value: Facilitate business value workshops. Use Celonis to identify and qualify process enhancement opportunities. Derive improvement measures and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives. Present results and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.
• Scale Value: Own the end-to-end customer value journey (landing, expanding, adoption, renewing). Build strategic expansion roadmaps. Provide feedback to product development teams.

The Qualifications You Need

• Data, Analytics, Applications & IT: Good knowledge of Business Software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP). Hands-on SQL and/or Python skills. Experience collaborating with IT teams. Experience developing dashboards and automations (e.g., PowerBI, RPA). Knowledge of and experience with AI-powered solutions.
• Customer Value Focus: Experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating value through data analysis, business process improvement, and software deployment. Preferably in a customer-facing role (Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, IT/Management Consulting) or an in-house role (e.g., Center of Excellence).
• Process Improvement & Value Realization: Experience identifying use cases for business process improvement, deploying improvement measures, and acting as a change agent.
• Project Management: Experience planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines.
• Executive Stakeholder Management: Experience preparing and communicating roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Business Domain Expertise: Expert understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Industry Expertise: Expertise in one or more industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals).
• Degree: Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a comparable technical degree.
