About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and curious Business Tax Manager or Senior Manager with expertise in entity and business tax returns. This role involves leading engagements, mentoring junior staff, providing proactive tax advice, leveraging technology, and maintaining strong client relationships. You will operate as a leader within our firm, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements by meeting client needs with a sense of urgency.
• Develop recommendations and maintain client relationships by balancing client needs with other assignments and deadlines.
• Provide proactive advice based on knowledge of tax law, particularly within business tax.
• Demonstrate initiative to creatively solve issues in collaboration with the lead.
• Leverage technology to automate internal and client processes to improve efficiency.
• Act as a mentor to younger staff and work directly with Directors and Partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting, with 2+ years in a managerial role preferred.
• CPA-certified with an active license.
• Expertise in managing business and entity tax compliance and reviewing complex returns.
• Background and experience managing and providing advisory and tax solutions to clients.
• Empowered to provide solutions and ideas.
